Jorge Hernandez, President of Bastion Technologies, will travel to Washington, D.C., on September 14, to accept one of the most distinguished awards given by NASA to thriving minority subcontractors. The Boeing Company nominated Bastion based on its customer-focused approach to contract management, critical support to the International Space Station and Shuttle programs, and its full spectrum of engineering and technical services relative to aerospace hardware and software products. Criteria for the award include commitment to safety, innovation, partnering with NASA, cost reduction techniques, employee satisfaction, and community involvement.
