Bastion's EDCM team will continue providing EDCM services, innovative tools, and processes in support of the Johnson Space Center's Engineering Directorate and divisions, including the Biomedical System Division, Crew and Thermal Systems Division, Aeroscience and Flight Mechanics Division, Energy Systems Division, Avionics Division, Structural Engineering Division, and Automation, Robotics, and Simulation Division. Bastion's EDCM Program Manager, Ms. Carolyn Jirlds, was cited in the source selection letter for: "… her CM knowledge, experience, and contributions to the Engineering Directorate in providing advice on the correct CM approach in establishing boards, creating charters for those boards, applying a consistent CM approach to the Engineering Directorate's products, and establishing and maintaining a configuration interface with the Engineering Directorate's costumers, including recently establishing the CM interface between the Directorate and the new Constellation and CEV offices." Bastion's selection was also based on providing a best value solution for continuous improvement in the Directorate's products, processes, and automated tools.
