Bastion Technologies, Inc. Honored with NASA’s 2016 Small Business Prime Contractor Excellence Award
Bastion was honored as NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) FY 2016 Small Business Prime Contractor Excellence Award recipient during the Marshall Small Business Alliance meeting, hosted Sept. 22 at the Space & Rocket Center. The award recognizes Bastion for exemplary support provided to MSFC under the Safety and Mission Assurance Services Contract.
Bastion Establishes Fellowship Program in Alabama
Fellowship Agreement Signed with University of Alabama Huntsville (UAH)
Bastion Technologies, Jorge Hernandez, President and Dr. Christine Curtis, UAH Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs signed the agreement June 11. Beginning this fall, UAH graduate students selected for the program will serve as Bastion Technologies Fellows, maintaining a residency at Bastion facilities in Huntsville to gain industry domain specific knowledge while completing their coursework requirements and thesis research.

Team Bastion Awarded NASA/JSC SEAM Categories D&E Contract
Team Bastion was recently awarded the NASA/JSC Specialized Engineering, Aeronautics and Manufacturing (SEAM) Categories D (Ground Support Engineering Services) & E (Fabrication and Provisioning) contract. This is the first award from the new NASA/JSC FOD contract set and represents a great beginning in efforts to continue our partnership with FOD customers.

Bastion is thrilled to have been nominated by both Lockheed Martin and Raytheon for the NASA Small Business Subcontractor of the Year Award for 2015.
Bastion Selected to Receive the 2015 Excellence in Advocacy Award
Bastion was among a handful of partners selected by Boeing to be recognized with this inaugural award – partners that went out of their way to support policy initiatives that impacted the aerospace industry. The companies selected worked tirelessly to participate in our WDC Fly-In’s, engaged employees in letter-writing campaigns, held facility tours, developed and placed articles in local media outlets, and participated in district office meetings with their elected officials. Bastion will be accepting this award on April 13, 2016 at Boeing’s Global Supplier’s Conference in Seattle, Washington.
