Bastion employees at NASA’s Stennis Space Center received excellent customer accolades for their outstanding support during recent three-week, 24/7, A-1 Liquid Hydrogen detanking operations. This effort required significant upfront planning and coordination in order to successfully remove the Liquid Hydrogen from the vessel and warm the system without causing facility damage or delays to the RS-25 engine test program. Jeffrey Barros and David Armbruster provided night shift and weekend coverage of tank operations while continuing to fulfill their normal duties. Their expertise and dedication enabled the successful completion of this critical work.
