Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA)

Bastion provides consulting engineering, statistical analysis, risk assessment and Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMEA/FMECA). Since 1998, Bastion has obtained significant FMECA experience as an aerospace engineering contractor to NASA and the US Department of Defense. The services provided by Bastion are part of the qualified procurement process.

Our effort provides an additional level of confidence that the vessel selected is the correct vessel for the task, and the vessel/equipment on-board is fit for service. If deficiencies are discovered, Bastion will make recommendations either to use an alternate vessel/operator/procedure or will provide procedural or physical recommendation that will mitigate the risk and/or consequences.
